Their musical journey began in the year 2012 after successfully graduating from Dandora Music School which is managed by Francis Demesi. Being the first students to graduate from the music school, Francis formed the Kenyan youngest hip hop group and gave them the name “Dandora Music”. The group composed of Elisha Odhiambo, Fode Gesaka, chris oyola and, previously, Members Dennis Kimatu, Stephen Naikara,Truphena Achieng and Joyce who departed from the group in 2016 &2017. Elisha Odhiambo and Fode Gesaka are Teenagers age between the ages of 16- 18 years .All the members of the group were born and raised in Dandora, growing up in harsh conditions faced with extreme poverty as they were from low- income families striving to make ends meet. Dandora Music has since recorded 3 Eps Looking Up, Nothing but the Truth and Grass 2 grace. Looking Up Ep generated hits like ON&ON ft. and Sugar which topped chart on Top 6 at 6 on One FM Kenya and Looking up ft. Klein Kalonzo which received a lot of airplay in East Africa.
