Crawling out from the bottom of the ocean, the depths of hell, the center of the earth- CALYPSO fuses electronics with classical instrumentation, stacking as many voices as he deems necessary (between 4 and 100) to broadcast his cynical, anti-capitalist, anti-establishment messages to the world. A collaborative creature by nature, they work with many other artists and experiment with multiple genres to create a sound that is constantly evolving. Most recently, he has collaborated with composer/pianist David Goldstein and singers/songwriters AYLA and sabrina ault on their fourth project, SALINITY; An album themed around marine life and humanity's impact on it. CALYPSO released his first single Tear It All Down as an explosive introduction, followed by two other singles, as a precursor to his first album, Creature. After living in the world of electro-pop for a year, they delved into electro-swing with their religiously-critical single, The Exorcist. This would be followed by the horror film inspired album Major Motion Monster in October of 2022. Several months later, he released three singles, PREHISTORIC, BIOLUMINESCENCE, and FORMALDEHYDE, featuring Kevin Wulf and Cadence Plenge. These set the scene for DECOMPOSITION the following October, and SALINITY in May of 2024. Their discography continues to get stranger as time passes. SALINITY OUT NOW.
