Young Porteau or YP to his entourage, is a lot of things. 
 Coming from Haiti to the Netherlands at the young age of 4, this young man did not waste any time to start working on his music, writing songs since the age of 9; and his label (LRE) which he created at the age of 12. 
 Throughout his teenage years, spent in Montréal, this young autodidact worked on his writing, his rap, and taught himself to record and mix his own songs as soon as he received a computer from his queen of a mother. 
 When he was 18, YP came back to the Netherlands (where he is now based in Heerlen) and has shown unstoppable dedication to build a community (or a family he would say) within the LRE gathering international rappers (be they Nigerian, Haitian, Canadian or Dutch...), with the precious help of his partner in crime Cookie045. 
 Young Porteau is a lot of things, he is a perfectionist, he is dedicated to his craft 100%, he is inspired and passionate. He aspires to bring the music scene to a new level, and he does not want to do it alone. YP knows the importance of friendship and values the artists he works with. He not only is a talented rapper; to others he is also a producer, a friend an precious adviser and a most importantly a trooper.
