Alex Rand is a Canadian composer, producer, and performer based in Montreal and the United Kingdom. He has toured extensively in North America and Europe as a member of various projects including Common Holly and Look Vibrant, and as a solo artist, sharing the stage with acts as diverse as Anderson .Paak, Wild Nothing, and Micachu and the Shapes. Alex's music is full of contradictions, evoking a pop sensibility while challenging the listener with an eclectic palette of rhythms and textures. The music is immediately gratifying, yet also richly rewarding of repeat listens, with nuanced and meticulously-crafted arrangements.  His debut EP 'Sundial' was released in 2018 via Cleveland-based label Jurassic Pop Records. His first album-length collection of songs will be released in the spring of 2020.
