Biography
Haitian-Canadian singer-songwriter based out of Paris (France). Mélissa Laveaux got her first break with her cover of Elliot Smith's "Needle in the Hay" back in 2008. Blending afro-caribbean rhythms and indie folk ballads to her fluid percussive fingerpicking electric guitar, she dabbles in different genres until she finds her comfort zone and lays down a gritty ethereal voice.
