Danny Ake, (Akey) - a Producer/Remixer/DJ from the East Yorkshire area, is known for his multi genre dance sets (house, deep, funky, future, electro and more). Akey's sets have caught the eye of many promoters over the years and has managed to gain him residencies up and down the UK and even in Marbella, Spain On the production front, Akey has had one of his original tracks featured on BBC Introducing and many of his remixes featured on Kiss FM. At the age of 17, Akey was signed to American based Label "Audiophile Live" where his releases gained support from Gareth Emery & Grammy nominee ‘Ming’ but the support doesn’t stop there. Akey’s first remix which saw him join forces with DeeVu favourite Ben Rainey, charted in the Top 10 Hot Box on DJ City. Akey has DJ’d at various events around the Yorkshire area such as Hed Kandi, Love Story, House of Tequila, Bed & Butter, Too Funky, Get Shaky and more. Akey has been on the same bill as many well known artists such as; Corey James, Hannah Wants, Majestic, Tom Zanetti, Ben Dooks, Culture Code, Official Nancie, Nick Hannam, Ryan James, James Hype, Danny T, Tom Bull to name but a few.
