Leo Hofmann creates and performs music theater pieces, performances and radio plays. His work explores making and presenting music as a digitally interwoven yet corporally situated practice. Arrangements of voices, movements and devices form vibrant sceneries and intimate listening situations. Examining music situated between transience and medial immutability, his pieces address the visual in musical performance and the physical agency of sound. His sonic fingerprint combines the aesthetics of audio dramas, experimental music and a pinch of electronica. The work of Leo Hofmann has been featured at many international festivals, concert halls and theaters, including Kampnagel Hamburg, Gare du Nord Basel, Theater Neumarkt Zurich, Radialsystem Berlin, and SPOR Festival Aarhus.
