Snowbeasts is a haunting post-industrial duo that blends ominous cinematic ambience with powerful modular squelches and hypnotic heavy distorted beats. Originally conceived as an experimental modular synth side project of Raab Codec during the harsh and blizzard-riddled winter of 2014 in the Northeast, Snowbeasts has since evolved. Over the winters that followed, Elizabeth Virosa joined the project, contributing further by writing tracks and adding ethereal vocals. They have performed live with a variety of artists, including Alessandro Cortini (NIN), Richard Devine, Bestial Mouths, Mark Hosler (Negativland), Moris Blak, Ariadne, Void Vision, and many others. To date, Snowbeasts has released at least 20 albums and is constantly creating new material. They have also collaborated with Solypsis, Dead Voices on Air, and D.U.M.E.
