A world citizen with creativity to last several lifetimes, a voice that cuts through the noise and lyrics that stem from generations of searching and survival as a child of war immigrants: Martin Bentancourt has what it takes to move you, as his debut song states: “Don’t call me second generation immigrant, call me first generations Swede” 
 Besides writing all his own lyrics and performing them he also does his own music production, plays all the instruments and mixes his songs. On top of all that he’s also an accomplished radio voice that has been awarded the highest honor by Sveriges Radio, Swedens equivalent to the BBC: The annual award of the year for outstanding voice in broadcast media for a radioshow he also writes/produces and performs from the ground up. 
 As a youngster growing up all around the world (Barcelona, Madrid, Stockholm, Montevideo) he found his one true calling early, and started recording his first EP when he was just 4 years old, an old cassette recording with 8 fully developed songs. During these days he used to wander the streets of la barceloneta, a child just playing with street folk and vagrants while his mother sold ceramics in a little stall there. He grew up in the streets and you can hear that raw honesty shine through him, because when life experience meets true talent, magic happens. Martin Bentancourt is a living example of that.
