Nigerian Rapper born Kabiru Adamu, originally from Gombe State. Started making music in 2011 with a group of friends collectively known as The Rebirthz. In 2015 Adams Mayy released his first solo mixtape titled 'Bad Influence' which never made it to digital stores. This was followed by a couple of singles which were circulated through local blogs. In 2019 the song Gombe Conect - Extended Version was released which was intended to be a theme song for the new media hub Xycles Media but it fell out. It later got massive air play on radios stations across town, further solidifying his stance in the local music scene. Later that year, he collaborated with long time friend Trapyy Mayyne(fka Barry BankX) to deliver a joint mixtape Trapyy Project. Adams Mayy is best know for detailing his family struggle in his early music, subsequently adopting the new wave of 'Trap Music' which can be heard in his recent works. 2020 proved to be the most trying year for him after the tragic loss of his mother in the Corona Pandemic period. In 2021 he returned with an EP Too Trapyy which was the second installment to the Trappy Project series. 2022 came with a fire collaboration on the track An Gama featuring ClassiQ. As an independent artist, he managed to stay ontop of his city's music scene ever since he popped out. Currently Based in the capital city Abuja, he continues to fuse English and Hausa lyrics on hard/soft 808 instrumentals producing both local and international flavored songs.
