Maj Trafyk : Guadeloupean Rapper of the mid-90s, known in the French West Indies for his supersonic flow of the time, under the name of Trafyk Jam, he is a founding member of the Martinican Reggae Hip Hop collective Redzone, with which he will release the albums Redzone (Bad Boy Story) (1997) and Redzone (Éclipse tolale) (1998), alongside acolytes such as Yaniss Odua or Lyricson ... After a long journey within the Hexagonale underground rap started in 2001 (various appearances, Mixtapes, EPs, studio albums...) Maj distinguished himself in 2020 with the X-Men on the emblematic 1st extract from Kyo Itachi’s Solide LP. Still in collaboration with the masked producer, Maj released in 2021 the album Advienne que pera (Zeus), with vintage boom bap sounds and legendary featurings: Evidence, Seth Gueko, Rockin' Squat, Rocca, The X-Men, Fuckly, Forsay, Mali F55D, Eben 2 Neg', Fdy Phenomen and Dj Nels (Time Bomb). The same year, Maj produced the title Ajisosos by Tres Coronas feat. Akapellah. Then various productions for HILL G (The X-Men). In 2022, he produced 3 titles on the album Mange tes morts, by Seth Gueko. Témoin zéro (intro title), Dernier mojito featuring Le Rat Luciano and Kofs, as well as Morts sous la même étoile featuring Akhenaton and Sat (La FF). In 2023, Maj is preparing a project with Caribbean rhythms, entirely produced by himself, in a rap genre he has named Boom Ka'. This project should see the light of day in 2024.
