Matty P. is a singer/songwriter from Pontiac, MI. He has been singing since the age of 4, and cites Rihanna, Mariah Carey, and Beyoncé as major musical influences. Matty is bi-racial and an openly gay artist that speaks to his own experiences in his music, providing a look into the life of a gay Black man in America. He released his debut EP “Transitions” in 2018, and followed it up with his full-length debut album “Single AF” in 2019. Matty just released his second studio album “Yellow” in summer of 2023.
