Born and raised on the southside of Chicago, B. Stokes is not only a survivor but he’s a champion. 
Moving out at the young age of 15, Stokes had to grow up pretty quickly. He learned early on that he had to find different ways to survive. After five years of doing everything he could to keep going, Stokes enlisted in the army where he would learn more about himself and what he wanted his next steps to be. 
After being deployed to Iraq three times and becoming sergeant, Stokes left the army and began to fully focus on his music. 
Combining his lyrical ability with his singing and production skills, Stokes put everything he had into his music and hasn’t stop. He created multiple projects and singles including Homecoming, “Strobe Lights,” “Good Luck” and his latest release, No Credit. Hoping that his sound would inspire others, Stokes has made sure to make all his music with meaning behind it. 
Using his own surroundings and life journey as inspiration to create music, Stokes is looking forward to connecting with his listeners and to build the same inspiration he has to create, in them. Stay tuned for what is to come next!
