Lari The G is a Mexican American Independent Hip Hop artist who was born and raised in Santa Ana , CA. His roots stem from Jalisco , Mexico. He grew up in a single parent home where his mother worked two jobs to provide for the family. Lari has two older brothers an older sister and a younger brother. Lari developed his love and passion for music at a young age. He was part of the band and choir from Kindergarten thru 8th grade. Once Lari hit his freshman year of high school he began hanging around with the wrong crowds and eventually drifted away from music and then ended up serving five different terms as a juvenile inside a juvenile detention system. After serving juvenile time he kept getting into trouble and even began experimenting with drugs and alcohol. He served 4 terms as an adult inside the California Department of Corrections. While serving a five year sentence in 2006 his oldest brother lost his life and that is when Lari began to turn his life around and get back into music. He used his musical talents to talk about the things he went thru and experienced while growing up the way he did. In a sense Hip Hop saved Lari from continuing to head in the wrong direction. today he is sober and no longer serving time as he continues to release album after album and is now focused and determined to leave his mark as one of the greats in this Hip Hop game.
