Sona Eyambe is an American DJ, Music Producer, Actor and Youtuber from Dallas, Texas. As a producer, he has remixed local Taiwanese artists such as Dwagie and BG8locc as well as the likes of Celine Dion. His dance music productions have appeared on OM Records, Ministry of Sound, Area 94 and Club Sessions Records. His DJ sets showcase the Chicago "Boompty" sound of House music with a techy, latin flair as well as the funky, soulful side of Hiphop. He has toured and played clubs in Japan, Taiwan, Mainland China, Africa and across the United States. A former Music Curator for the W Hotel, Sona knows exactly how to set the perfect vibe for a crowd, drawing on a wide array of musical influences including Quincy Jones, Kraftwerk, Fela Kuti and David Bowie. As an actor, he has appeared in films from Hollywood to China to Taiwan, performing all of his own stunts and delivering dialogue in multiple languages. He as also guest hosted a variety of Taiwanese variety and television shows, as well as hosting the press conference for MTV’s first hiphop contest show, The Rappers, He now focuses on sharing his musical experience with the new generation of local Taiwanese hiphop artists on his Youtube show, 好機車(Good Bike Mob) which has over amounted over 15 million views and 300,000 subscribers in less than 18 months. 2021 sees him partnering with MTV as a guest presenter for its new show, TheRappers (大嘻哈時代).
