Brian is a native Texan exiled to Missouri, but that’s ok. There’s great talent in Missouri. Brian cut his teeth on Gordon Lightfoot, the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Al Stewart, Andy other great classic rock acts. He came of age to a soundtrack of R.E.M., Radiohead, Live, and Counting Crows. His sound has become his own. His sound is also democratic. When recording albums, he is quick to share the spotlight with his talented friends who join him on stage and in the studio. In that instance Brian Jin ceases to be an individual and becomes a band. According to Indie Boulevard Magazine, Brian Jin “is shock and charm at the same time.” Such kind words were used to describe his 2022 album You Are The Moon , a raucous, hopeful and meditative album. Other highlights of his discography are the Hendrix tinged Candygram (For Mongo) from the 2020 album Birmingham New Street & Other Experiences This year Brian & Friends released the veiled sociopolitically charged album of progressive rock A Hush Falling Over The West The highlight is the new wave in disguise Another Way To Tell The Truth.
