Russell Goodwin grew up in Milwaukee, WI. The great grandson of a Pastor, Russell had the spirit of service instilled in him at a very early age. On August 11, 1991 Russell acknowledged his call into the ministry. After leaving the University of Memphis in 2001, Russell started his own Record Label. He served as the Chairmen and CEO overseeing 7 employees and volunteers. Russell helped to create and produce a successful RnB and Hip Hop group as well as Gospel Acts, He also taught and mentored many young children during his tenure who are now successful producers. Russell also started an initiative with business partners and government officials to combat teen pregnancy, STD’s, and lack of school supplies. This initiative was, “Youth Awareness Day” and on this day fed thousands of Milwaukee County kids, talked with them about issues, and gave them school supplies. In recent years, He founded Christians United on the Move Church in Milwaukee, WI which is now known as The Movement Center Church. He has fed many homeless, provided people with shelter, and has helped people spiritually as well. His TV Show, “Get On the Move Today,” has broadcast to many homes in Wisconsin. In 2012, Russell became an Author, writing his first book, “How to Manifest the Good you Desire from God.” He also has a New CD set to be released in 2018, as well as messages, and books. On September 5, 2015 he received his Honorary Doctorate of Divinity.
