Quanell Wade was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on October 1, 1989 to Betty Wade and Delbert G. Lee. Inquisitive & undaunted, he found himself on the basketball court with kids 2 to 3 times his age. This led to him being very good and landed him a spot on an AAU basketball team (CT Flames) for the state of Connecticut with Scooter Braun. At a young age, he found his love for all types of music due to diversity on the teams. He enjoys soft rock, reggae, R&B, Hip hop, reggaetón, pop, rock and roll, and EDM. You'll definitely find elements of these in his music. Influenced by artists like Ricky Rozay, Jadakiss, and Fabolous his slick rhymes, catchy flows, hard bars, and elegant delivery are incomparable. Whether you want the thought provoking lyrics that can bring you to tears or the melodic music you hear in clubs, he has a sound for all occasions.
