"dimslim" is an Arnhem Land born and Perth/Boorloo based hip-hop producer. Dimslim's arrival into the hip-hop stratosphere offers a refreshing sound due to his initial background and influence from alternative genres shoegaze and post-punk. Within recent years, dimslim joined WA based, independent hip-hop label Shine! Records and continues to offer a variety of unique sounds through his left of field style of production on the infamous Roland Sp404. "REVERSE!" is dimslim's first solo EP, which released on September 8th, 2023. Prior to this project dropping, dimslim also released an album alongside Perth/Boorloo based producer "tlvtr" (pronounced televator) under the alias Digital Response, and also dropped his first solo beat tape titled "DIMSTRUMENTALS VOL. 1" in late 2022 via Shine! Records.
