Biography

In two short years, rrotik has rapidly ascended through the ranks to become one of the fastest-rising acts in the electronic scene. Hailing from Brazil, the budding producer is making his mark worldwide on the strength of his diverse, wide-ranging sound and eclectic tastes, which traverse the house, tech house, techno and bass house genres and beyond. His original productions and in-demand remixes ooze with a trademark style and genuine originality- from G-house stompers all the way through to deep, dark warehouse cuts. Accordingly, he has become one of the pioneering figures in Brazil’s burgeoning low bass scene, which mixes funky, bass-centric styles like G-house, UK garage and house with wobbly basslines and melodic vocals. rrotik's discography comprises original tracks and collaborations with Lliam Taylor (“Bounce Back”), Felix (“Boom, boom, boom ”), Latroit (“Get up Everybody!”); and remixes for Destructo (“Renegade - rrotik Remix”), Treasure Fingers (“MYNE - rrotik Remix – Treasure Fingers"), and Chris Lake & Anna Lunoe (“Stomper - rrotik Remix”). His extensive list of supporters includes Claude VonStroke, Rezz, David Guetta, Oliver Heldens, AC Slater, Afrojack and Martin Garrix who has placed rrotik’s tracks in his radio show, live sets and Spotify playlists numerous times. Widespread media coverage has come from Magnetic, Earmilk, Big Shot, Nest HQ, Four Over Four (Jukely) and Dancing Astronaut, who recently dubbed him “a talent to watch."
