22-year-old Kitty N. is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, bedroom producer and singer-songwriter from the Netherlands. Inspired by artists from the UK jazz/neo-soul scene like Tom Misch, Jordan Rakei and the American collective The Soulquarians, Kitty N. writes groove-based songs exploring sensitive themes such as depression, social anxiety and introversion. Growing up shy, she used music as a way to find an escape from the difficulties she was facing as a child. Kitty N.’s debut EP, 'Do You Understand?', is a reflection of her journey, offering an honest exploration of these emotions through soulful melodies and introspective lyrics. Her goal is to be a role model for her younger self and for those who can relate.
