Bert Li is a young, up-and-coming singer-songwriter, producer, and DJ from Denver, Colorado. His debut full-length album, Golden Hours, released in September 2020 with Electric Buffalo Records, an independent record label in Ithaca, New York. Rapidly making a name for himself in pop-EDM conversations, Li is carving out a unique crossover between the two genres, mixing lyrics and verse beat from pop music with bass drops from melodic house and future bass. Bert Li began his production career under the name Last Night in Alesia, releasing five tracks as an independent artist and ranging widely in genre, from Hip-Hop to future bass. He has also performed at several events in Ithaca as an EDM DJ, building a robust fan base from the students of Cornell University and Ithaca College nearby. In the summer of 2020, Li wrote and produced Golden Hours, an album dedicated to celebrating the idyllic denouement of the end of summer. The album features some of his most well-known tracks, such as "ILY 2" featuring Hanna Lee, "Welcome to My ChinaTown", and "WestLove". "ILY 2" and "Rosetta", another track on Golden Hours, have both been featured at the top of The Sounds of Cornell University, a Spotify-curated playlist with the most popular streams of students. With over two-hundred listeners from around the world, Bert Li is rapidly climbing up the pop-EDM crossover scene to establish himself as a unique artist committed to celebrating "music that makes you happy :)".
