Equipped with nothing but a simple chord book and a small flame for music, Lani began her first songwriting venture in the summer of 2013 in Des Moines, Iowa, resulting with her first song Head Over Heels. That small flame within her grew into a burning passion over the next eight years as she fell in love, had her heart broken, and experienced the pain and beauty of life itself. Always at her disposal have been her catchy melodies and lyrical hooks, documenting the stories of her soul, along with a delicate yet powerful voice that has the power to touch every soul it comes across. There is beauty in love and an equal amount of beauty in pain, and through her songwriting and her performances, Lani captures what it means to be beautifully vulnerable.
