Born Christopher Tyrone Ravenel, Thelonius hails from the small town captial of Harrisburg, PA. Since a young age, it was clear to those around him that he possessed the gift of creativity. Though music wasn't a goal for him, he did show signs by learning to play the piano by ear at the age of 9. His influences were straight from home as he grew up listening to Jazz, Gospel, Pop, Rock & Soul. Having been involved in art shows, poetry recitals and essays, Thelonius established embraced his world long before his exposure to music. But during college tenure at Antonelli Institute in 2006, he discovered a hidden love for music. Since then, he's established himself as a well-respected recording artist in his city. With a slew of releases and collaborations under his belt, There's no telling just how far or how close he is to making an impact on the world. Though most in Harrisburg would consider him a veteran, Thelonius embraces the role of a student having studied under the tutelage of pioneers like Nas, Lupe Fiasco, Kendrick Lamar & Childhish Gambino.
