NOTI - the solo project of Swiss producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Benjamin Noti - shares a hundred times. The new single offers the first glimpse at NOTI’s upcoming album, take 02 (set for release this fall). Vocalist Andrea Thoma, better known as Amoa, lends her subtly poignant timbre to NOTI’s composition, a bittersweet homage to the golden era of trip hop and its icons. At heart, a hundred times is driven by a thumping beat; based on this pulse, NOTI (one of Switzerland’s most sought-after and prolific live and session musicians) develops layers of intricate guitar lines and adds warm pads and dusty string samples to create a multi-layered, quietly stirring piece. NOTI is a Basel-based producer and musician. He has worked with Audio Dope, Steff La Cheffe, The Rumours, Greis, Noti Wümié, Manillio, Anna Rossinelli, James Gruntz, Sam Himself, and the Basel Symphony Orchestra (Sinfonieorchester Basel), among many others.
