Arsenal, stylized as Ar$enal, is a rising rapper and hip-hop artist based in Vermont. Known for his conscious rap style and quickfire lyrical flow, Ar$enal’s music explores life and mental health issues including depression and anxiety. His up coming single will be produced by DJ Flippp, who has made beats for artists like Lil Yachty, Skepta, YG and Trippie Redd. A ‘90s baby, the rapper grew up in Barnstable, Massachusetts. His upbringing was rough and unstable, with a drug-addicted mother in and out of jail. Always the new kid, he bounced from school to school until his father took full custody of him and he moved to Vermont. Although he moved out from his father’s home at age 15, the rapper earned his high school education and began recording music as a hobby during music class. Ar$enal says: “I always turn to music to keep me going.” Inspired by Eminem, Jay Z, XXX Tentacion, J. Cole, Mac Miller and Lil Peep, Ar$enal openly acknowledges his dealings with depression and uses music not just as a release, but to help other people get through their own hard times.
