Biography

The producer and musician Luis Caballero announced the presentation of his solo album MexicaBlues. This album contains Mexican themes, with arrangements of blues, funk and rock. "Mexica Blues means a turning point in my career, it is an album that combines beautiful themes that are part of Mexico heritage and humanity." The planning of this album goes back to the celebrations for the centenary of the Mexican Revolution in 2010, but the final elements for maturation occurred this year. Luis Caballero accompany this journey, new and renowned musicians, Alberto "Betoso" Diaz and Edgar "Bordos" Ordoñez on electric bass, Raciel Suarez and David Melo on drums and harmonica virtuoso Rafael "Wea" Salgado. Most of the themes that includes the album are instrumentals, but due to increasing requests from the public decided to place a sung theme. While Luis Caballero's electric guitar has been heard on many recordings, so far he had not been the protagonist under the main reflector for so long. The time is right for the public who loves electric guitar and the powerful and inspiring music will stop transporting, through these arrangements, other places and times. This record means for Luis Caballero the result of the constant fusion of cultures that converge in Mexico, and achieve a great combination.
