Andrea Di Biase has been a successful and active composer and double bassist on the London jazz scene since 2009: as a sideman he was part of Kenny Wheeler’s trio with Liam Noble, as well as being a member of Bruno Heinen’s The W alongside Heidi Vogel and Gene Calderazzo. As a bandleader he recorded his debut album Uncommon Nonsense with Oltremare Quartet with Antonio Zambrini, Michael Chillingworth and Jon Scott, and co-led with Ivo Neame the recording of Escape Hatch’s album “Roots of Unity” with Julian Arguelles and Dave Hamblett.
