He was joined the Marines out of high school and after discharging he moved to East Oakland where he established himself with those around. Aj is known for being incredibly loyal and protective over his friends. AJ worked at the first Medicinal Cannabis Club in San Francisco which was known for having the best weed. It was managed by the Rapper "Berner" at one point. AJ started working there right around the time the cookies brand was taking off. He ran into his favorite rapper, "The Jacka" & became friends. One day AJ was posted in East Oakland outside of a corner store on 90th & Macarthur when a Van rolled up with some folks AJ already knew from the block but the jacka was in the back.. The JA said " What you doing out here whiteboy!" while AJ replied that he lived around the corner. After that interaction he clicked up with the MOB and started his rap career under "the Jacka" with the help of Lil Rue. Ajthekid originally came out with "Your Neighborhoodly Whiteboy" as his first EP, then followed it up with "Mob With Me". He took a break after the jacka had passed away and turned to Lil Rue for guidance. Making his comeback he made his mark April 1st with a track called "In The Bay Ft. Cam'ron" and doubled it up on 4/20 when he released "Force Ft. Jadakiss."' He pledges to release one track a month
