Originally from the South Suburbs of Chicago, BUDD introduces a new point of view to the Chicago Hip Hop scene. Both parents of BUDD were separated but always present in his life. Growing up under the roof of his single mother Tracy BUDD started making beats at the age of 14 and started writing lyrics shortly after. After many EP’s and mixtapes later BUDD was able to develop his sound and lane in the growing Hip Hop Music Industry. BUDD’s style of rap music is dark, but honest. His rhyme patterns and flow can be unorthodox and purposely awkward but also familiar and clever. Starting his discography with the “Blood Sweat & Tears” series BUDD takes you through all of his life experiences from his grannies backyard as a kid in the ghetto to being in the military, while fighting depression & losing family members back home. Shedding light on everything from social issues, poverty, relationships, fashion, and personal experiences. Although BUDD’s style of music is gritty, and risky there is always a underlying sense of urgency to prove the naysayers wrong and to motivate his fans to Level Up!
