Biography

Liza Miro is a South African born Singer and Songwriter signed under Open-mic Productions which is where she met a label mate “Bongo Beats” then went to studio together and came up with a song “Don’t Break My Heart” which opened lots of doors for both artists. Liza started singing at a very young age with the influence from her mother who used to harmonize some of her favorite songs while busy in the kitchen and Liza would join her and sing along then next day she would perform songs by some of her favorite artists like Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles & James Brown to mention a few. The name Liza it was given to her by her mother cause of the song ‘Lisa se Klavier’ which played on the radio when she was born and the second name Miro she was named after the Spanish surrealist Joan Miró also by her mother who always believed in her daughter’s dreams.
