Antonio García aka antxnio graz, classically trained Andalusian composer and sound artist based in Montréal started learning piano at the age of 10 in their hometown, La Herradura. His sound practice stems from an obsessive search for a contemplative space that no longer exists, perhaps as a way to return to that inner child that continues to inhabit that silent bay in the south of Spain. Through different teachers between Granada and Helsinki, they discovered different tools and processes that led them to experiment with electronics. Their first works have been presented in spaces such as Festival Atemporánea (Buenos Aires), Festival Eutopia (Córdoba), denkFEmale (Munich) among other cities like Lisbon, Helsinki, Mexico City or Madrid. His sound practice has led him to collaborate with different visual artists, poets, theatrical pieces and installations.
