Seoul-born, LA-based singer-songwriter Juju B. Goode can do it all himself. The epitome of a DIY artist, Juju has spent the last five years cultivating every piece of his genre-bending music all on his own as an independent musician. Juju’s hands create everything from the innovative production to his cinematical visuals – and the hard work is paying off. Today, the singer is regularly featured on Spotify and YouTube editorial playlists and in 2023 Juju was tapped to headline the original soundtrack for the hit Netflix show XO, Kitty. Juju has also become a fixture in the West Coast music scene, playing 11 shows in just under a year, including the 626 Night Market and opening for K-R&B singer JUNNY in Seattle. Since beginning his professional career in 2019, Juju has released two EPs, the sci-fi influenced “Future Boy” and the romantic “Garden”. His rangy, genre-bending debut album “Smile! You’re on Camera” is perhaps his most innovative work that sprawls out influences from Korean rock oldies, funk and soul. Juju’s forthcoming project “Greetings from LA” tracks the beguiling relationships and anxieties that come from being in the iconic American city. Exploratory, groovy, and as self-reflective as ever, Juju’s new music represents a restless artist always in search of the truth within himself. - Michael Hixson
