Born and raised in Athens, before leaving school I was playing music. It was always what I wanted to do. So I went on at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (1975-1980) in London and then on at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris. Upon my return to Greece I met and worked with Manos Hadjidakis who was a strong influence on me as well as many many others that I never met.... Since 1986 I write words music, soundtracks, theatre, documentaries. I write for “almost” anyone who asks me to put “10 notes in a row”. Since 2003 I am co-founder of the indie record company Cantini.
