Classical and flamenco guitarist, he also plays other instruments such as vihuela and baroque guitar, in addition to playing jazz standards often. He has several international awards as a guitarist and composer. He has played concerts and recordings ranging from Renaissance and Baroque music with ancient instruments, to jazz, tango and flamenco.
