Monty Bynum is on track to be one of the hottest acts coming out of North Carolina in the Pop Music Industry. Releasing his debut Pop/R&B single “Bed” in the summer of 2020, now he prepares to release his first EP “The Come Up -EP” in spring of 2021. Monty plans to entertain the masses with his influences of Pop, R&B & Soul, Hip-Hop, Funk, Jazz & Reggae. 
 Monty’s musical influences and genre bending are a direct correlation to his time DJing to crowds of thousands onboard Carnival Entertainment Cruise Lines & Royal Caribbean International Cruises’ cruise ships. Onboard as ‘DJ Monty Mix’ He was the Pro DJ for the nightclub and ‘Lido Deck Mega Parties’. 
 All of Monty’s life has been dedicated to music. Realizing he could sing at three years old he made his first step in his career by winning Clayton Idol in 2009 at the age of only eight (alongside the eventual 2011 American Idol winner Scotty McCeery). Controlling the stage he captivated audiences and judges while becoming the first and only person to win Clayton Idol twice in 2009 and 2013.
