Musician, singer-songwriter, and electronic performer. After releasing three singer-songwriter inspired albums, CATTANEO began composing soundtracks for various audiovisual works. He worked with Diego Buongiorno on the soundtrack for "Hyperstellar," a site-specific project created by the artistic collective Hyperstudio. "Hyperstellar" was produced by the Balloon Museum for the "Let’s Fly" exhibition, held in New York in October 2023. His song "Il Raggio" includes the voice of Iranian singer Hamid Shahsavan, it was released for the project "Brixia Sonora," a tribute to the Brescia music scene on the occasion of Brescia Bergamo Capital of Culture 2023. He is a member of the electronic duo Jay Perkins, which has released the albums "Decay" and "Release" (Ala Bianca), straddling the line between electronics and improvisation, sound and experimentation. His latest album, "The Faun," was released in November 2023 and featured national and international artists such as Francesco Bianconi (Baustelle), Douglas Dare, YOSIE, Alex Reeves (Elbow, Anna Calvi), Benjamin Mørk, Simon Spiess, Hamid Shahsavan, and NicoNote. The result is an exploration of different moods and imaginaries, the union between analog and digital, reality and fantasy. In February 2024, the EP "L’albero acerbo", composed and created with the English producer Howie B, was released. His latest work, "Hypersphere," with Tim Lefebvre and Andrea Lombardini, was published in May of the same year.
