VOBEN is a tech house and melodic techno project by Bence Jacso and Peter Voko, two friends from Budapest, Hungary. Bence began DJing in December 2002 as a techno DJ. He is also known as Benzol (DJ) and Jacsó (Producer). He was among the nominees for the ’Rookie of the Year’ by the Hungarian magazine ’Check’ in 2003, and he won the poll by www.soundhead.hu in the same year. He instantly got involved in producing and has released numerous songs ever since. He has performed at the biggest festivals in Hungary and made several radio shows. He is currently working as a sound engineer. Peter is a trained musician having an artistic family background. He ha played the drums, the piano, and various melodic percussion instruments since he was 7 years old. As a drummer of numerous bands, he has gone on tours throughout Europe and performed at the largest festivals and clubs within Hungary. Between 2006 and 2008, he led a live weekly electronic music show and did DJing at the biggest online radio of the time (Pararadio), which helped launch the careers of many acclaimed DJs and producers. Peter also performed as a DJ at several gigs organized by the radio, and he has produced electronic music since 2012. Peter started his solo project in 2020 and released quality Melodic Techno, Progressive House tunes under Artessa Music, Enormous Visions and Ethereal Future Music.
