Christel Peschke was born March 26, 1938 in Opava, Czechoslovakia. After she received acting degree at the state university of music and performing arts in Stuttgart she had different engagements in Oberhausen, Dortmund, Münster and Wunsiedel. From 1965 till her retirement she was a established member of the theatre in Augsburg. Christel Peschke is famous for her voice acting in many movies of the Augsburger Puppenkiste, and she produced a CD with Songs and Poems of Bertolt Brecht.
