A double bass player, composer, producer and session musician with extensive experience in all music genres. Based in Gdańsk, regularly gives over 100 concerts a year on national and international stages. He became the first PRO verified double bass player on Fiverr platform, where he regurarly make recordings for Universal Music, Warner Music, Prime Video and Netflix. In 2016 was named one of best polish double bass players by „Jazz Forum” readers. Maciej was recognised as the musician of the year 2019 by the esteemed independent critic Adam Baruch on the polish-jazz platform. Over the last 10 years of his career he has performed with over 100 ensembles throughout the Europe, and contributed to a range of high profile projects. Maciej, apart from solo work, is currently running 3 original projects: Lowbow Gdańsk Necropolitan Orchestra (with Dawid Lipka) ñoko aka Maciej Sadowski Kwadrat In addition to his own projects, Maciej composes film music and actively contributes to artist: BPMoore, Glowworm, Sofi Bonde, Tymon Tymanski, Dead Vistula Zgniłość & Marcin Świetlicki, Antoni Wojnar, Klezmoret , Almost Jazz Group, Bizarre Penguin. He is also a founder of Eastrings Records.
