Born in Los Angeles, California, to parents of Jamaican and Canadian descent, Ronnie Quest is a multifaceted Hip Hop, R&B, and world music artist. The 24 year old singer, rapper, and deejay seamlessly switches between the late-night vibes of Toronto, the tropical rhythms of Kingston, and bounce of Los Angeles to create a myriad of sonic offerings, putting his own twist on each. His artistic journey began as a child, raised by his mother who has played the piano for almost 50 years and his father who spent his teenage years rocking the stage in local bands. His early experiences with music at home caused him to fall in love with jazz, gospel, rock, and reggae: the building blocks of modern music. As a child Ronnie Quest experimented with the drums, guitar, and trumpet before choosing the piano and songwriting as his vessel for musical expression. As he grew older, his music grew as well, eventually becoming the aesthetically diverse artist you are hearing today.
