What I love about playing solo on my viola is that - no matter where - I can open my viola case and spontaneously make music for people. I love playing the classical music of the past 300 years - but I've always been fascinated by Folk Music. Music and musicians from Romania, Switzerland and Denmark have crossed my path - the music I learnt from them is very close to my heart and part of my album. I grew up in Germany and studied violin in Cologne, Copenhagen, Zurich and Basel. I'm a member of the Tonhalle Orchestra in Zurich and string trio Trio Oreade.
