Skipper (Akinola Oladapo) is a Nigerian singer-songwriter whose music combines Afrobeat, R&B, Pop, and dancehall influences. Inspired by Lagbaja's ME and WE album at a young age, Skipper discovered his singing talent and joined a boy band in elementary school. He later formed the band Livewire in high school with his friends, including record producer Remy Baggins. Drawing inspiration from his idols, Skipper collaborated with producer Konam in 2014 and released his debut single "Sugabelly" in 2017 to critical acclaim. In 2022, Skipper signed with Reals A&R Management to elevate his artistry to the next level. With his captivating sound and love for nature, Skipper is set to make waves in the music industry
