mafmadmaf.com Born in 1987, Cantonese maf is an Art Director and a multimedia artist under the name mafmadmaf. He writes atmosphere-based music with exquisite timbre and strong narrative, but also avant-garde pieces for Modular Synthesizers, with a strong interest in minimalism and physical qualities of sound. He focuses on Ambient, Noise, Experimental, Soundscapes, and more. Intersecting with visual arts, he has performed and created installations in several events and spaces, such as the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale (CHINAHOUSE), Tokyo Festival of Modular, Mirror Garden, etc. Run his own label Jyugam since 2020. 植根於中國廣州的多媒體藝術工作者 mafmadmaf 誕生於一九八七年，日常是一名美術指導。憑藉其豐富想像力與獨特的平面美術思維，以幾何排列和圖像構成為出發點，書寫具有畫面感和敘事性的合成器電子音樂，音色細膩或凶猛、充滿生機。自二零一六年集中使用模塊合成器創作和演奏，聲音作品包括但不限於氛圍、噪聲、實驗和聲音景觀，並將聲音結合影像、燈光、藝術編程等多媒體技術對其身處環境作出回應。 在摩登天空、環形山等廠牌發佈作品，參加東京模塊音樂節等音樂交流活動，也見於劇場、美術館和藝術空間，如越後妻有大地藝術季·華園、鏡花園等。 二零二零年開始經營先鋒音樂廠牌 Jyugam。
