Many people have the pleasure of calling the legendary group, The Bada-Ba-Ba-Ba’s, their favorite band. The band’s presence exudes an otherworldly energy and the vibrations they produce melt souls like butter left on the porch on a hot summer day. And this is all before any of them even pick up an instrument. Many have tried to claim that they understand the influences and roots of the band, yet the Badas insist that no one has ever come close to understanding the fire that licks the bottom of their creative cauldron. The band however, has stated directly that the Oscar award winning experimental animation film, “The Adventures of Timmy the Tooth: Big Mouth Gulch” as an inspiration. This classic piece of French New Wave cinema has stood the test of time again and again, consistently disseminating and embedding itself in new works of art. It’s equally both a surprise and expected that “Timmy the Tooth” inspired the Badas to create. If one listens closely, one can hear lyrics reflecting high highs and low lows, truly spanning the vast array of purely human emotions. Unlike any other musical group active today, the Badas dig deep into what it means to feel alive through not only their piercing lyricism but expertly crafted musical progressions. The Bada-Ba-Ba-Ba’s are well known to collectively have the most professionally trained background out of any other active groups, and this fact definitely shines through.
