Nakara Forjé was born and primarily raised in the Twin Cities. A lyricist, event curator and author, she’s always had a passion for language and the power of words. She recently released the follow up to the soul stirring #lovehangover EP, titled #lovehangover2 in 2021. She’s also written and curated the "7 Day Grief Journal for Hip Hop Lovers" that’s available on Amazon. In addition, she curates an event series called “Midwest Curated*™️ that exclusively spotlights artists in and from the region. Nakara is a member of the Rooted Society artist collective.
