Born Oluwatise Israel Samuel, TiL Whyte (pronounced: Till White) arrived at his stage name which he used to be nicknamed back in Senior Secondary School 2 Combining the soul of Afro-sounds with the edge of trap melodies, TiL Whyte is carving out his own lane in the world of music. A science student with an insatiable passion for beats and storytelling, TiL's journey began with the captivating rhythms of Hip-hop/Rap, Trap, and Afrobeats. Influenced by the likes of Akon, Michael Jackson, Lil Wayne, and Future, TiL's musical evolution reflects a fusion of diverse inspirations. Initially drawn to rap, TiL's exploration of his Yoruba heritage led him to infuse Afro elements into his music, inspired by artists like Olamide and Asake. Collaborating with Avour, a master of Lo-Fi vibes, TiL embarked on a mission to create something truly unique – "AFRO-TRAP." Now, in "Project Mode," TiL is channeling his creative energy into his debut project and collaborative EP with Avour, promising a showcase of the magic that happens when two musical minds unite in pursuit of a shared vision.
