Maxx Kenif is an American recording artist and producer who created a digital world for his listeners. Learning how to edit videos, mastering graphic design, and creating and recording his own music, he established himself within both the underground and mainstream music scenes. With collaborations with Thouxanbanfauni , Diego Money , YN Jay ,Texako , and surprisingly SZA , Maxx Kenif became a well-known artist, reaching millions of streams and performing shows worldwide. He continues to strive in his career as he enters a new phase of stardom. Max Kenny Dormeville was born and raised in New Jersey. He began his path in music, inspired by his older brother, during visits back and forth between New Jersey and South Carolina. These visits exposed him to Southern artists such as Gucci Mane , Three 6 Mafia , Lil Wayne and more. Growing up in the North while being influenced by his brother’s Southern music, he developed an appreciation for different sounds and styles of rap. After graduating high school, he decided that attending college would be a better decision than running around in the streets. He landed an internship at a studio in Orange, NJ, called “The Pyramid,” where he learned the skills necessary to launch his career in 2012. Maxx began dropping mixtapes in 2019, designing his own cover art and editing his own music videos, which gave him a local advantage. Today, he has surpassed millions of streams and continues to create new sounds.
