Coming from Alexandria, LA, A.J started making music in 2001/02. A.J’s songs are based on honesty and are all about storytelling. He has performed in various shows including the “Power and Plugs” Tour with DJ Ya Boy Earl in 2016. His shows are more intimate and energized due to his power-packed performances and his fans love to catch his lyrics and sing with him. His first official performance was at the 2005 Crunkfest in Louisiana. He has even shared the stage with artists like Trae The Truth, Z-RO and C-Note. Most recently, he opened for a Juneteeth celebration in Alexandria, LA with DJ Speedy Tee and Kiss 98.7.  In 2005, his mom passed away. It was then when he adopted a more honest style. His first official project with DJ Indeed and Young Hustlaz in 2006 was titled “Get Down Or Lay Down Vol.1”. He released his first solo project in 2010, “I Just Wanna Rap.” In 2011, he dropped “I Just Wanna Rap Vol.2”, and in 2013 and 2015 with “Statement Music” and “Statement Music 2”, respectively. With his latest release “Just because EP” already in the market, he is also working over a few other projects. His upcoming project is the follow up to 2016's statement music 2.
