MNT is an artist from Leicester (East Midlands). He became a known figure in the midlands grime scene from 2003 after joining the highly respected Midlands Mafia. Move on to 2007 when he came out with the now bassline classic song ‘Get Loco‘. Then he followed it up with ‘Hmm Yesss’ alongside SG, both songs got his face out to a much wider audience. In 2008 MNT was awarded Bassline Artist Of The Year and Song Of The Year for ‘Hmm Yesss’ at the As It Is TV Bassline Awards. MNT started up his own collective alongside DJ Total called Team Get Loco, which has since become one of the leading movements in the midlands and a household name in the bassline music scene.
